Tamanho 0M ou 1M? - Pim-Pam-Pum Baby

Size 0M or 1M?

The doubt of many parents.

Many pregnant women ask me whether or not they should buy 0M?

Sometimes it happens that they tell me: - my obstetrician tells me that the baby will be big (I don't understand, but nowadays babies are either big or small) and tells me that it's not worth buying the baby. 0M . After a statement like this, it is difficult to change the preconceived idea of a health authority.

Therefore, I can only talk about my products and my measurements. Unfortunately, there is no universal regulation of measures. If there was, it would all be very simple. There are brands where the 0M is smaller than mine and there are the opposite.

I don't understand the 0/3 month size of some products on the market. Maybe it's an intermediate measurement that is large in 0M and small in 3M? Perhaps. But for me, all that matters is what I do.

Our measurements were designed with the development of my youngest son who had a 50% percentile on all charts.

My size 0M is for a baby 50 cm and up. A baby considered average, according to the standard table of the World Health Organization (WHO), 50% percentile is 47/50 cm, uses my 0M for 3/4 weeks.

If it is expected to be greater than 51 cm and here, some factors may be influencing growth such as hereditary issues (tall parents), gestation time (exceeding 40 weeks) among others. In this case it makes sense to prepare your first clothes in size 1M.

I am aware that you still had doubts because even if you have the best ultrasounds in the world, the results are never exact. However, I hope I helped in some way.
